So Kefalonia is one of the Greek islands but is not as popular as many of the others. I am not sure why that is. Perhaps it is because many islands in Greece are known for partying and this is not the same for Kefalonia.

So what are Kefalonia holidays all about? You will fit many things into your holiday be primarily they are about relaxing. It has some of the best beaches out of all the Greek islands. They are very quiet too so you will be able to relax there all day on your sun bed under a nice bit of shade.

Then you have the temperatures. If you are from the UK, which many of the tourists to Greece are, then you will really like the weather. Will waking up to the same hot sunny weather each day get boring to you? I hope not because that is what you will get on your Kefalonia holidays.

Because it is hot and sunny you need to take care of your skin. Make sure that you take the necessary precautions, especially with children. If the weather does get too hot then you can cool down in the beautiful blue seas. Remember to take on lots of fluids as well

I hope I haven’t given you the wrong impression about Kefalonia holidays. They aren’t solely about beaches and weather. There is plenty to do for all the family. There is great scenery and walks you can go on. They have lots of mountains and caves for you to explore too. There is a great history to the island that I am sure that you all will love.
